We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic Federal Solutions team at CTI, a Parsons Company. This role involves developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions that support spectrum operations, cyber and electronic warfare, and other critical defense capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications that contribute to mission success in complex operational environments. This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States, with the expectation of up to 25% travel for site visits, client meetings, or industry events. The role requires a security clearance and a strong background in software development, particularly in Java, along with a passion for developing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of national security and defense sectors.
- *Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
- Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience in software development
- Strong programming skills in Java; proficiency in C# or Python is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in coding, debugging, and software testing
- Ability to drive technical decisions and communicate effectively within engineering teams
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. passport for travel outside the continental U.S.

- Design, develop, test, and debug software applications aligned with project requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and functionalities
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks

- Support integration of container-based solutions such as Docker or Podman
