Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native application development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build enterprise-grade applications that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable Microservices following modern architecture and best practices.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and third-party systems.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code with strong unit and integration test coverage.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models.
• Implement security best practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD automation and cloud deployments.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Strong experience in Microservices architecture.
• Expertise in developing REST APIs.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and JVM performance tuning.
• Experience using Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Good understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
