JavaScript Developer

A leading healthcare technology company is seeking a skilled developer to build scalable backend applications that support critical healthcare referral decisioning workflows.

The Role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
• Develop APIs supporting specialty referral decisioning workflows, including specialty recommendation, provider/specialist matching, and notifications
• Design and optimize database schemas, indexes, and queries using PostgreSQL
• Implement complex business rules and decision-logic engines within backend services
• Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

What You'll Need

• 4+ years of professional Node.js and Express experience
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, API versioning, and JSON schema validation
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization
• Experience with Prisma, PgAdmin, and Liquibase
• Proven experience building and maintaining production REST APIs
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices, GitHub Actions, and GitOps
