About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Front End Software Engineer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated web applications that power our subscription services.

You will take part in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture to deployment and ongoing maintenance. Your expertise will influence the technical direction of our products, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and security. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore associates, and contribute to innovative solutions that impact our global customer base.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript, demonstrating proficiency in both legacy and modern versions without external assistance.
• Extensive experience in Node.js development, with a strong understanding of server-side scripting and architecture.
• Proficiency in Jest for unit testing, ensuring code quality and reliability through comprehensive test coverage.
• Deep knowledge of Redux for state management in complex applications, with proven ability to implement scalable solutions.
• Expertise in React, including component design, hooks, and performance optimization.
• Strong version control skills using Git, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts efficiently.
• Ability to design and deliver complex large systems from vague requirements within tight deadlines, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience applying SOLID principles to create maintainable, scalable, and robust codebases.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Honest, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis for critical business and production issues, implementing effective solutions promptly.
• Document testing procedures, application corrections, and ongoing maintenance activities to ensure consistency and quality.
• Build consensus among stakeholders, influence decision-making processes, and resolve conflicts constructively and proactively.
• Support business objectives by developing scalable, efficient, and sustainable front-end solutions that meet user needs and enhance user experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices.
