Junior Developer - Java & Python

Requirements

Must have:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, preferably with PHP and/or Python. - Strong comprehension of relational databases with the capability to write and read complex SQL queries. - At least 2 years of experience using MySQL databases and business intelligence tools. - Proficient in Excel and familiar with data visualization techniques. - Comfortable operating in a Linux environment and using command-line operations. - A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. - Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, learn rapidly, and work independently. - Strong prioritization skills and the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment. - Experience with virtualization (VMWare), VOIP technologies, or Machine Learning/AI is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with management and end users to analyze application needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. - Convert designs and ideas into stable, functional, and maintainable applications. - Write clean, well-organized, and efficient code. - Perform ad-hoc data analysis and offer technical support to operations managers, aiding them in interpreting dashboards and insights. - Draft and optimize complex SQL queries while working extensively with relational databases. - Develop and utilize data models and employ BI tools to facilitate data-driven decision making. - Work closely with team members to implement enhancements, new features, and quickly address issues. - Pinpoint opportunities to streamline processes and enhance existing applications. - Ensure high-quality work is delivered on schedule while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
