Junior Developer - Java & Python

Requirements

Must have:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, preferably with PHP and/or Python.

• Strong comprehension of relational databases with the capability to write and read complex SQL queries.
• At least 2 years of experience using MySQL databases and business intelligence tools.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with data visualization techniques.
• Comfortable operating in a Linux environment and using command-line operations.
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, learn rapidly, and work independently.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with virtualization (VMWare), VOIP technologies, or Machine Learning/AI is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with management and end users to analyze application needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

• Convert designs and ideas into stable, functional, and maintainable applications.
• Write clean, well-organized, and efficient code.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and offer technical support to operations managers, aiding them in interpreting dashboards and insights.
• Draft and optimize complex SQL queries while working extensively with relational databases.
• Develop and utilize data models and employ BI tools to facilitate data-driven decision making.
• Work closely with team members to implement enhancements, new features, and quickly address issues.
• Pinpoint opportunities to streamline processes and enhance existing applications.
• Ensure high-quality work is delivered on schedule while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
