Junior Full Stack Java Developer (Contract-to-Hire)

Charlotte, NC or Dallas-Irving, TX (Hybrid/Onsite as required)

6+ Month Contract-to-Hire

Employment Type: W2 Contract (Must be eligible and willing to convert to full-time)

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• 2+ years of experience with Angular
• 2+ years of experience with React
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
• Experience using GitHub for source control and collaboration
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience building or supporting Microservices architecture
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing applications using Python
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with automated testing and DevOps best practices

Day to Day

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular and React.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy within Kubernetes environments.
• Participate in CI/CD processes and contribute to automated deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance and scalability.
