Junior Java Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven

Junior Java Engineer to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career developer to work on systems that have real-world financial impact.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain Java-based services that detect and minimize risk in payment processing.
• Work on real-time systems that identify potentially fraudulent activity and enforce risk policies.
• Help improve the scalability, reliability, and observability of risk-related microservices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions around architecture and design.
• Assist in writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure high system reliability.
• Continuously learn and grow within a fast-paced, supportive engineering environment.

What We’re Looking For

A

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

Computer Science or a related technical field.

(Master’s in CS preferred)

Strong foundation in

Java and object-oriented programming.

Understanding of data structures

,

algorithms

, and design patterns

.

Exposure to or interest in distributed systems

,

real-time processing

, or fraud detection is a plus.

Familiarity with

RESTful APIs

,

SQL

, and development tools like

Git

.

Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn from and contribute to the team.
