Junior Java Developer - Ashburn

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related engineering field with a minimum of 2 years of technical experience. - Proficient in provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems on AWS or comparable cloud platforms. - Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, React-Native, and NodeJS. - Experienced in developing microservices, especially with Spring Boot. - Competent in performing efficient CRUD operations on database management systems like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB using JDBC, JPA, or Hibernate. - Able to develop and troubleshoot complex SQL queries. - Some familiarity with Unix and Linux systems, including basic shell scripting. - Knowledgeable in object-oriented analysis and design methodologies. - Highly motivated with a strong commitment to delivering excellent solutions and collaborating in a distributed team setting.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement microservices using the Spring framework. - Utilize modern software engineering tools such as Eclipse, VS Code, and Atlassian Suites for software design, development, and testing. - Present solutions at both formal and informal design reviews, and document designs in accordance with governmental system lifecycle methodologies.
