Title: Java Developer (Junior Level – Large-Scale Applications)

About the role
Join a collaborative development team supporting large-scale enterprise applications in a fast-paced technology environment. This role focuses on developing and maintaining Java-based applications while working within structured development teams and contributing to scalable system solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for junior developers with experience working on large-scale enterprise applications within structured development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Core Java/J2EE technologies
- Build applications using Spring Framework and ORM tools
- Write and optimize simple and complex SQL queries
- Participate in unit testing using JUnit and testing frameworks
- Support development and maintenance of web services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in large development environments
- Identify and troubleshoot application defects and performance issues
- Participate in code reviews and development best practices
- Support application deployment and maintenance activities
- Contribute to documentation and technical reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field (Required)
- Associate’s degree plus 2 additional years of relevant experience
- 2–4 years of experience in Java development
- Experience with:
- Core Java / J2EE
- Spring Framework
- ORM tools
- Java build tools
- JUnit testing
- Web services
- Ability to write simple and complex SQL queries
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare, Medicaid, or health exchange environments
- Experience with Angular, Cloud technologies, or AI-based applications
- Experience working in structured enterprise-level development teams
Compensation
- Estimated hourly range: $45–$50/hr (W-2)
- The final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
- Hybrid schedule: 2–3 days onsite weekly
- Onsite schedule options include:
- Wednesday/Thursday and every other Friday
