Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (or expected graduation) - 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships, academic projects, or research experience acceptable) - Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C++, C#, or Rust - Familiarity with software development concepts (e.g., debugging, version control, testing) - Ability to collaborate in a team environment and accept direction from senior engineers - Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Background Check/U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Quantum-Systems engineering team to assist with software development efforts - Aid in the design, development, and testing of software components - Support the integration of software with hardware systems and unmanned platforms - Troubleshoot and debug software issues with guidance from more experienced engineers - Contribute to software documentation, which includes design and testing plans - Participate in code reviews and team meetings - Learn and implement industry best practices in software development - Support integration and testing activities for software - Embrace, advocate for, and exemplify the core principles of Quantum-Systems
