Lead Application Developer (Python, Java)

Requirements

Must have:

- Proficiency in Python; familiarity with TypeScript, Go, or Java is a plus. - Strong understanding of AWS architecture, including deployment, monitoring, security, and cost efficiency. - Knowledge of agentic or LLM frameworks such as Strands, CrewAI, LangGraph, or similar. - Experience with retrieval systems, vector databases, embeddings, and orchestration frameworks. - Solid foundation in secure API design, data modeling, and CI/CD automation practices. - Proven ability to write clean, testable, and production-quality code. - Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly. - Ability to balance innovation with security and compliance considerations. - Client-focused mindset, making decisions that ensure long-term stability and transparency. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted. - 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, particularly with scalable systems or AI-driven platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop advanced agentic AI architectures that can reason, plan, and self-adapt within established security and compliance frameworks. - Enhance and utilize frameworks such as Strands, CrewAI, and LangGraph to create reusable components that expedite development efforts across teams. - Create secure and scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS services to enable efficient AI operations. - Establish metrics and evaluation processes to guarantee reliability and promote continuous improvement in system behavior. - Collaborate with governance, security, and compliance teams to ensure ethical and audit-ready systems. - Work alongside data science and application engineering teams to integrate advanced capabilities into our platforms. - Investigate and propose new frameworks and methodologies to responsibly enhance our AI functionality. - Manage the entire lifecycle of projects, ensuring high standards of documentation and reliability from design through deployment and beyond. - Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
