We are seeking an experienced Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer to guide the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. In this role, you will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, working across front-end applications, back-end services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable products.
The ideal candidate is a pragmatic technical leader who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring engineers, improving development practices, and taking ownership of software from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of full-stack applications. Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly front-end experiences. Design and develop scalable back-end services, APIs, integrations, and data models.
Establish and promote engineering standards for code quality, security, performance, testing, and documentation. Provide technical direction and make informed architectural decisions based on business and product requirements. Conduct code reviews and support the team in delivering maintainable, production-ready software.
Mentor software engineers and contribute to their technical and professional development. Partner with product, design, quality assurance, DevOps, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Break complex initiatives into clear technical plans, milestones, and deliverables.
Identify technical risks, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks, and lead their resolution. Improve continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, monitoring, and release processes. Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend tools or practices that improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity. Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform health and technical sustainability.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Significant professional experience developing and supporting full-stack software applications.
Experience leading technical projects or engineering teams in an Agile development environment. Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript and a framework such as React, Angular, or Vue. Strong experience with at least one back-end language or framework, such as Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Go, or a comparable technology.
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, event-driven services, or GraphQL APIs. Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with containerization, automated deployments, and CI/CD practices. Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, secure coding practices, and application performance.
Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to lead through influence while remaining actively involved in software development.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with microservices, distributed systems, serverless applications, or event-driven architecture. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native development.
Experience implementing observability through application logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, and alerting. Knowledge of authentication, authorization, data protection, and common application-security standards.
Experience modernizing legacy applications or migrating systems to the cloud. Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive application design. Previous experience supporting high-availability or business-critical production systems.
Experience working with geographically distributed or cross-functional teams.
During your first several months, you will: Build a strong understanding of the company’s products, users, systems, and engineering practices. Establish productive relationships with engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders. Contribute meaningful code while improving the quality and maintainability of the platform.
Provide clear technical direction for key projects. Strengthen development standards, code-review practices, testing, and delivery processes. Help the engineering team deliver software more predictably, securely, and efficiently.
What We Offer Competitive compensation. Health and wellness benefits. Paid time off and company holidays. Retirement or savings-plan options. Professional development and learning opportunities. A collaborative environment with meaningful technical ownership. The opportunity to influence architecture, engineering culture, and product direction. Specific compensation, benefits, and workplace arrangements may vary based on company policy and the selected candidate’s experience.
