Lead Full Stack Software Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, mathematics, computer engineering, or electrical engineering - Over 5 years of experience in full stack software development - Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript libraries such as React or Lit - Professional experience with programming languages like Python, Rust, or C++ - Minimum 1 year of experience with database systems including Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle - At least 1 year of leadership experience in a professional setting - Active Top-Secret, Top-Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q security clearance

Responsibilities:

- Lead the outcomes and delivery of a software engineering team focused on full stack solutions for analysis, prototypes, ground software, and operator interfaces supporting flight systems - Oversee technical results, performance assessments, and professional development for team members - Create and maintain a roadmap with clear and achievable goals, both short and long-term - Collaborate closely with clients and SpaceX teams to effectively implement operational use cases and task analyses into a user-friendly UI/UX - Cultivate a culture of excellence, prioritizing high quality work, peer support, and cross-functional teamwork - Identify and resolve obstacles, empower team ownership, and inspire individual success - Facilitate architecture discussions, design choices, and code evaluations - Ensure compliance with software development processes and industry best practices - Manage all stages of software development, from design and implementation to testing, mission integration, and operations
