Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development

, along with strong experience in leading engineering teams and delivering high-performance distributed systems.

This role requires a strong balance of hands-on development (coding) and architectural ownership

, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable applications across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot

• Architect and implement microservices-based distributed systems

• Build and expose secure

RESTful APIs and integration layers

• Lead system design for high availability, fault tolerance, and low latency

.

• Drive modernization from monolithic applications to cloud-native architectures

• Define coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, QA, and Product teams.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and guide technical decisions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical roadmaps.

Required Technical Skills

Core Java & Backend

• Java 8 / 11 / 17+
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Cloud
• Hibernate / JPA
• Strong experience in multithreading and JVM performance tuning

Microservices & Integration

• Microservices architecture & design patterns
• REST APIs, OpenAPI / Swagger
• Messaging: Kafka / RabbitMQ
• Event-driven architecture

Databases & Caching

• PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle
• NoSQL (MongoDB / Cassandra – preferred)
• Redis / caching mechanisms

Cloud & DevOps

• AWS / Azure / GCP
• Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Preferred Qualifications
