Lead Java Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- Strong background in Java application development - Experience building REST APIs and related services - Hands-on work with microservices and distributed architectures - Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB, or comparable databases - Experience with Kafka and Redis, or equivalent technologies - Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines - Experience with application monitoring, logging, and production support - Proven ability to mentor and develop engineering teams - Strong track record of partnering with stakeholders and customers - Confident leadership presence with credible technical judgment - Excellent emotional intelligence and communication skills - Ownership-oriented mindset and commitment to ongoing improvement - Ability to manage delivery priorities while supporting team well-being

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, build, and delivery of enterprise software solutions - Convert business needs into scalable technical architecture - Oversee the full software development lifecycle from design through production support - Develop and support APIs, integrations, shared services, and microservices - Diagnose and resolve complex application and production problems - Define engineering standards, code quality expectations, and release practices - Coach developers through code reviews, design conversations, and technical guidance - Contribute to project planning, estimation, and continuous improvement efforts - Promote accountability, collaboration, and high engineering performance
