Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Java Developer with 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, and leading enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud Technologies, and API Development, along with experience leading development teams in a fast-paced banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and development of Java-based applications.

Develop scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.

Guide and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.

Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Drive CI/CD adoption, application modernization, and DevOps practices.

Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.

Participate in production support and troubleshooting activities.

Required Skills

12+ years of experience in Java development.

Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate.

Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.

Experience with Kafka, JMS/MQ, Docker, Kubernetes.

Strong SQL and database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.

Proven experience leading development teams and technical initiatives.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Banking or Financial Services domain experience.

Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
