Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Lead Java Developer
to design, develop, and lead scalable enterprise backend applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development
, along with strong leadership capabilities to mentor teams and drive technical excellence.
This role requires ownership of
backend development, system scalability, API design, performance optimization, and engineering best practices
.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable
backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
.
- Architect and implement
microservices-based distributed systems
.
- Build and expose secure
RESTful APIs and integration services
.
- Optimize applications for
performance, scalability, reliability, and security
.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams.
- Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce coding standards.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases for large-scale applications.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical roadmap planning.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term scalable solutions.

Core Java & Backend
- Java 8 / 11 / 17+
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
- Hibernate / JPA
- Strong expertise in multithreading and collections
Microservices & APIs
- Microservices architecture
- REST APIs / OpenAPI / Swagger
- Kafka / RabbitMQ (preferred)
- Event-driven architecture
Databases
- PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle
- MongoDB / Cassandra (preferred)
- Query optimization & performance tuning
Cloud & DevOps
- AWS / Azure / GCP
- Docker / Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Git, Maven, Gradle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Spring Cloud / Reactive Programming
- Exposure to distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or enterprise domains
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills
