Lead Python AI Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- 6-9 years of professional software development experience with a key focus on Python. - Strong knowledge in utilizing Generative AI capabilities including patterns like prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, embeddings & vector stores, and agentic AI. - Experience in data-centric engineering, developing services and tools within a data engineering context, showing a data-first approach. - Proven track record in creating and scaling software solutions within cloud environments (preferably AWS). - Passion for remaining up-to-date with AI advancements and the practical application of them. - Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative AI solutions that address real-world issues. - Integrate Generative AI into workflows for the development of enterprise data products and machine learning platforms to enhance efficiency and developer productivity. - Design, develop, and maintain top-quality Python applications and services while advocating for best practices in testing, documentation, and maintainability. - Provide technical mentorship and oversight to junior developers and offshore team members. - Work closely with security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise standards regarding governance, privacy, and ethics. - Continuously assess emerging technologies in the data and AI landscape to appraise their practical use and business significance.
