Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of experience, or 13 years of related experience without a degree.
  • 9 years of professional software engineering experience, including 8 years of C/C++ application development.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including command line competency.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM.
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools including Git, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills to brief executives and government stakeholders on technical matters.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the software development and architecture for Windows/Linux applications using C/C++.
  • Develop multi-threaded codebases managing multiple socket connections.
  • Create software driven by Interface Control or Specification Documents.
  • Establish coding standards, design patterns, and automated testing pipelines that ensure memory safety.
  • Promote modern programming practices, tools, and frameworks within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee requirements compliance and traceability.
  • Provide technical mentorship to the engineering team, nurturing a culture of secure and maintainable software development.
  • Engage in technical discussions across L3Harris to shape and communicate future strategies for TDL Support Products.
  • Serve as the main technical liaison with stakeholders, including government clients and leadership, regarding compliance and risk management.
