Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications and systems
Write and optimize COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe-based code
Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging of mainframe environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical requirements
Monitor mainframe performance and implement tuning improvements
Participate in system migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives
Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures
Proven experience in mainframe development or administration (IBM z/OS preferred)
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, or related mainframe technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex system environments
Experience with mainframe performance monitoring and tuning tools
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and Agile development practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
