Mainframe Programmer Analyst | Merrimack, NH

Summary

Our Mainframe Programmer Analyst will perform new development, maintenance and enhancements to the real-time trade settlement application running in the mainframe environment

This includes:

analyzing, designing, functional analysis, application design and support, coding, unit testing, testing/QA, debugging, unit and environment integration. The Mainframe Programmer Analyst will have a good understanding of relevant business concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

Provide coding, testing, and implementation of COBOL, DB2 and CICS solutions

Focus on developing applications that meet user specification and expectations

Work with other team members to understand business requirements and propose flexible solutions

Provide specifications and designs in support of application development

Qualifications

Experience with coding, testing, and implementation of COBOL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM solutions

Must be experienced in developing and maintaining systems in the MVS mainframe environment

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Financial background is desired but not required

ControlM, Vshare, XML, and MQ Series experience is a plus
