Mendix Low Code Developer (W2 Position)

• *Role Description**

This is a W2 contract-based remote role for a Mendix Low Code Developer.

Responsibilities involve designing, developing, and maintaining applications within the Mendix low-code platform, ensuring functionality and performance. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize programming skills for back-end web development, and troubleshoot issues to ensure solutions align with client requirements and timelines. Additional tasks include implementing software best practices and leveraging object-oriented programming techniques for efficient application development.

• *Qualifications**
• Hands-on experience with Low-Code / No-Code platforms, with Mendix strongly preferred
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying applications in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with JIRA for backlog management, defect tracking, and sprint planning
• Experience working as part of a Scrum team (developers, BAs, testers, product owners)
• Experience with SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnostics
• Understanding of PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance standards
• Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to support time-sensitive, high-visibility applications in a public-sector environment
