Schedule and Work Details

Location: Government site (Fort Meade area)

Schedule: Full-time, standard day schedule

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)

Day-to-Day and Responsibilities

You will work with a collaborative Agile team to modernize a complex operational system using microservices and modern cloud technologies. Your day includes hands-on development, automation, and coordination with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Typical responsibilities include

• Develop Java Spring Boot microservices using AWS native services
• Build RESTful APIs capable of handling complex data selection and filtering
• Use Python to automate and optimize AWS resources such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3
• Support a distributed microservices architecture
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps practices
• Participate in Agile development cycles and iterative releases
• Collaborate closely with teammates to refine requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, and security expectations

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college, OR equivalent experience
