Requirements

Must have:

- We need 2–4 years of practical, professional experience with Laravel and PHP.

• We require strong MySQL expertise, including query tuning and database schema design.
• We expect experience working with live production applications.
• We require experience integrating APIs and third-party services.
• We need familiarity with Git or a similar version control tool.
• We look for working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks.
• We require experience using or connecting OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, or another LLM-based solution.
• We need the ability to work independently and handle assigned work with minimal supervision.
• We expect strong debugging, analytical, and issue-resolution skills.
• We need clear communication and consistent progress updates.
• We require an understanding of secure development practices.
• We need someone comfortable improving an existing codebase over time.
• Preferred experience includes health, wellness, coaching, pharmacy, compliance-oriented, or data-sensitive applications.
• Preferred experience also includes AWS, server environments, or application deployment work.
• Preferred experience with Laravel queues, jobs, notifications, or scheduled tasks is a plus.
• Preferred experience building automations, dashboards, portals, or internal business tools is a plus.
• Preferred experience with AI-assisted workflows, OpenAI API integrations, or LLM-powered features is a plus.

Company:

We are hiring a mid-level Laravel developer for a part-time, remote 1099 contract role supporting an existing health and wellness coaching platform that is already in production. This is a hands-on opportunity to take ownership of a live application, improve functionality, and contribute to new development in a business-critical environment.
