About the Opportunity:

The FULL STACK JAVA ENGINEER role involves delivering end-to-end software features that enhance web applications. This position is responsible for developing Java-based backend services, frontend features with modern JavaScript frameworks, and supporting scripts in Python. The role contributes by integrating AI coding tools into the development workflow to improve productivity and code quality, playing a key part in maintaining and advancing the organization's software offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Java backend services, APIs, and application features
• Develop frontend features using modern JavaScript frameworks and integrate with backend APIs
• Utilize Python for scripts, integrations, or support services as needed
• Employ AI coding tools such as Claude Code to aid development, ensuring thorough review and testing
• Write tests, troubleshoot issues, and support application deployment and maintenance
• Participate in design decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvements to application quality

Requirements:

• 3 to 6 years of professional software development experience
• Proficient in Java development, including backend services and REST APIs
• Experience in full-stack development, covering both backend and frontend features
• Working knowledge of Python
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants like Claude Code in development workflows
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Ability to test, debug, and communicate effectively with engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Spring Boot and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Knowledge of SQL databases, Git, and CI/CD practices
