Requirements
Must have:
- Eligible to obtain a Secret clearance; active clearance preferred - Must be a US citizen with a background suitable for Secret clearance by the U.S. Department of Defense - Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar engineering field - Over 5 years of relevant experience - Proven track record of completing project tasks - Ability to mentor junior engineers - Experience in modeling and simulations architecture and development - Familiarity with all phases of software quality assurance, including unit, acceptance, regression, and cross-platform testing - Proficiency in C++ using the C11 standard - Knowledge of Object-Oriented Architecture and Design - Development experience with IDEs such as VisualStudio, NetBeans, and Eclipse, as well as debuggers and performance tools - Understanding or experience with multi-threading (POSIX, OpenMP, MPI), SSE, or GPU programming - Familiarity with version-control software (Git, Subversion, Mercurial) and configuration management tools (Jira, Bugzilla) - Experience working in an Agile development environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and verification of missile trajectory and RF signature prediction simulations - Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, documentation, and delivery - Lead project teams and provide support to junior engineers - Conduct C++ software development and maintenance, including software integration testing - Engage in Agile development practices including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Reviews - Quickly adapt to emerging technologies and skill requirements as needed
