Mid Level Software Engineer - Simulation

Requirements

Must have:

- We require an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance that is current, with the ability to qualify for SAP access - We require a bachelors degree or equivalent education - We require at least 3 years of experience working in Linux development environments - We require at least 3 years of C++ development experience - We require at least 3 years of experience using version control tools such as Git or Subversion - We require experience working within an Agile SDLC - We require U.S. export control eligibility and U.S. person status - We prefer a bachelor of science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, along with 3 years of related experience, or a bachelors degree with 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of relevant experience - We prefer prior Operator in the Loop or Distributed Interactive Simulation experience - We prefer Python scripting and automation capabilities - We prefer experience coordinating multiple initiatives and collaborating across cleared teams - We prefer a strong team-oriented mindset with a focus on mission success

Responsibilities:

- We develop, integrate, and sustain simulation software within our virtual simulation toolset to support Operator in the Loop experiments - We model platforms, sensors, emitters, weapons, communications, and tactical systems to align with customer requirements - We collaborate with our internal teams and cleared external partners to build and run large federated simulations - We define requirements, create software designs and test plans, and troubleshoot and validate experimental systems - We support contracted research and development efforts and convert classified operational needs into executable simulation features

This role focuses on mission-critical virtual simulation and experimentation for classified programs, with opportunities to work in Special Access Program environments and collaborate with government and industry partners.
