Must have:

- We prefer at least 1 year of experience in Android development.
- We prefer at least 1 year of experience with object-oriented programming.
- We seek familiarity with multiple languages and platforms such as Kotlin, Swift, Java, Python, and C#.
- We value experience with architecture approaches such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- We expect knowledge of networking fundamentals and diagnostic tools such as Charles Proxy or Wireshark.
- We look for the ability to produce clear documentation, technical specifications, UML models, and system designs.
- We prefer experience using Agile tools and workflows, including Jira, Git/Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.
- We value familiarity with Android and Material Design guidelines.
- We require the ability to work onsite in Annapolis, Maryland and relocate before starting if needed.
- We ask applicants to meet U.S. citizenship requirements.
Responsibilities:
- We build next-generation applications for phones, tablets, wearables, voice devices, TVs, automotive systems, and related platforms.
- We contribute beyond coding by helping shape mobile product direction and technical solutions.
- We participate in requirements gathering, design discussions, development, and client-facing collaboration.
- We work with backend engineers, architects, and security specialists to deliver secure, high-performing, production-ready apps.
- We apply creative thinking and technical versatility to solve meaningful engineering challenges.
- We support Android and broader mobile innovation across mobile, IoT, embedded systems, ambient computing, and generative AI initiatives.
- We use Agile practices and modern development tooling to deliver work efficiently.
- We engage in every stage of the product lifecycle, from planning through implementation.
- We document technical decisions and specifications to support clarity and collaboration.
- We continue learning, experimenting, and improving our solutions with modern tools and approaches.
