NetSuite Developer SuiteScript

Requirements

Must have:

- We require at least 5 years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.

• We need strong fluency in SuiteScript 2.x, including User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, and RESTlet work.
• We expect a solid understanding of governance limits and how to manage them effectively.
• We require direct experience with OneWorld and multi-subsidiary environments; this is non-negotiable.
• We need integration experience with Celigo or Boomi.
• We require a current SuiteCloud Developer I certification, earned or renewed within the last 2 years.
• We expect strong JavaScript fundamentals.
• We need experience with SuiteAnalytics Workbook and SQL-style query writing.

Responsibilities:

- We want you to own the scripting, integration, and customization layer of our NetSuite OneWorld environment.

• We expect you to study and understand our existing scripts, custom records, workflows, and integrations before making changes.
• You will develop SuiteScript 2.x solutions across User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, and RESTlet components.
• You will support OneWorld and multi-subsidiary workflows, including intercompany POs/SOs, consolidated reporting, and subsidiary-specific item availability.
• You will build and maintain integrations with tools such as Celigo, Boomi, EDI, and e-commerce connectors.
• You will work on item fulfillment, inventory management, drop-ship, special order, and landed cost processes.
• You will create and refine SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, saved searches, and custom dashboards.
• You will review, refactor, and document our existing script library.
• You will test thoroughly in sandbox environments before any production deployment.
• You will collaborate closely with our admin, senior NetSuite specialist, and other developers, while keeping communication proactive and responsive.

We are a multi-entity wholesale distribution business operating NetSuite OneWorld across three subsidiaries. Our team already includes an admin and a senior NetSuite specialist, and we are hiring a developer to own the scripting, integration, and customization layer. Our NetSuite environment has a long history with hundreds of scripts, custom records, workflows, and integrations, so we value someone who takes time to understand what exists before making changes.

We offer a hybrid remote work arrangement in Ewing, NJ, and the role pays $66,650.85 to $100,000.00 per year.
