PHP Web Developer

You will be part of a team responsible for creating and delivering outstanding software experiences to our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience building complex commercial, enterprise PHP and MySQL web applications in a production LAMP environment. The specific function and requirements for this job are outlined below.

• Write clean, functional, and compliant code
• Work with equal proficiency as part of a group and autonomously
• Work on a variety of projects with frequent changes
• Develop, test, and deploy new applications and services
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing systems
• Keep code synced, current, and accessible using source control
• Remain current with the web as a consumer and a producer

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience building complex commercial, enterprise PHP and MySQL web applications in a production LAMP environment
• Experience with object oriented programming practices and techniques
• Ability to author and troubleshoot regular expression statements
• Understanding of Apache web server functionality
• Experience with MVC design pattern a plus
• Ability to design and implement database schemas to support web based applications
• Familiarity with cross browser HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery
• Understanding of XML/JSON formats
• Database design and management experience
• Ability to quickly understand and debug code to fix production issues
• Understanding of version control systems
