Expert level understanding of the HTML DOM and underlying event model
Ability to discuss various front end architectures and approaches with technology and UI/UX teams and influence at the director level
Expert understanding of Adaptive and Responsive Web design principles, adoption and technologies
Demonstrable knowledge of large scale, JavaScript application architectures
Experience with in designing and developing modules using Require.
JS, or other module loading libraries A strong understanding of both progressive enhancement and AJAX-based single page applications built using Ext JS and other MV * based frameworks
Understanding of design strategies for effectively leveraging CDNs
Understanding of full life cycle development
Ability to effectively learn and use new programming concepts, tools and methodology to support the needs of the business
Ability to effectively share technical information and train and mentor less experienced or knowledgeable team members
Experience working with high volume eCommerce websites
Knowledge of JAVA, J2EE/JEE, MVC application frameworks (Spring MVC and/or struts), design patterns, web and application servers
Experience with SOA implementations (REST and/or SOAP)
HTML 5, CSS, Mobile Frameworks, JavaScript/JQuery or Sencha Ext JS, Responsive Design, Web Services : 3 years
