As part of their database migration initiative, the client's database team is searching for expert PostgreSQL engineers and developers which can help with migrating large amount of business logic stored in the source Oracle database to PostgreSQL.
Core engagement will include migrating and re-building PL/SQL code to PL/pgSQL with emphasis on high-performance and high-end scalability, implementing PostgreSQL best-practices for data modeling and consulting the client's database team about the built-in PostgreSQL functionality which could be leveraged as part of the migration.
