Programmer Analyst

Requirements

Must have:

- We require proficiency in reading and writing RPG, including RPG III, RPG IV, and RPG Free, for IBM iSeries or AS/400 systems.

• We require strong SQL query skills for data extraction from DB2 or MySQL.
• We require experience with a scripting language such as PHP, Ruby, or JavaScript.
• We prefer a solid understanding of manufacturing and/or financial business processes.
• We require 5 years of experience with IBM i/IMBi, RPG, and programming.

Responsibilities:

- We maintain and enhance existing software using RPG.

• We provide programming support for a range of interfaces.
• We develop new software initiatives using the most appropriate programming language.
• We review programming requests, prepare functional and technical specifications, and implement code changes to meet business needs.
• We thoroughly test all program modifications.
• We create internal and external functional and technical documentation for review and ongoing support.
• We deliver technical assistance to end users.
• We work collaboratively with management, staff, and vendor support when needed.
• We document code and processes to support future updates and troubleshooting.

Company:

We are hiring a Programmer/Analyst for a full-time hybrid role based in Brookfield, WI. This position offers a salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 per year and includes benefits such as 401(k), dental, health, life, and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, and paid time off.
