About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced API Developer to join our dynamic team at Saransh Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable REST APIs utilizing Python and AWS Lambda within a serverless architecture.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native application development, database management, and automation, with a focus on delivering reliable and secure API solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with database schema design, migrations, and version control using Liquibase.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture, cloud-native development, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in automated testing, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda in a serverless environment.
• Integrate APIs with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data consistency.
• Create, manage, and version database schemas, migrations, and updates using Liquibase.
• Implement automated testing, logging, and monitoring to ensure API reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan sprints, and deliver solutions in Agile environments.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and documentation to uphold coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application and database performance, troubleshoot issues, and support deployment and release activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support team members through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and coaching on best practices.
