Job description

Our top client in the transportation industry is looking for a Software Engineer, strong with Python, REST APIs, AWS, and Java, to join their team! You will be responsible for supporting a variety of applications related to client, leasing, financial, and employee needs while working with a tight-knit, collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with smaller, collaborative teams and shape more progressive development at a multi-million dollar, North American corporation!

Central Standard

Time core business hours.
  • Expert-level experience with Python
  • 3+ years’ experience in Java-based software development
  • Proficient experience with RESTful web services, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway
  • Knowledge in API security frameworks, token management, and user access control, including AWS Cognito/Azure, OAuth, JWT, OpenAPI, etc.
  • Proficient in querying a variety of data sources, including APIs, RDBMSs, document stores, etc.
  • *Preferred:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • AWS Certifications: Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect (Associate), Developer (Associate)
  • Experience in CI/CD framework to create/modify CI pipelines using GIT (Bitbucket preferred)
  • Experience working on event-based services like SQS, SNS for data integration patterns with applications
