Python Developer

Alderson Loop is seeking a Full Stack Python Developer to support a large-scale AWS-first cloud transformation initiative. This role is ideal for engineers with a full-stack mindset who bring a mix of experience across application, data, and front-end development, rather than deep specialization in only one layer.

You will help design and build modern, cloud-native applications while contributing to AI-enabled initiatives and establishing the organization’s next-generation technology foundation. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-moving, startup-like environment where engineers have significant influence and ownership.

• *Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop cloud-native applications as part of an AWS-first modernization effort.
• Contribute across multiple layers of the stack, including:
• Application Layer:**

Python or .NET services and APIs

• Data Layer:

PostgreSQL or MySQL data models and integrations

• Front End:

React or Angular user interfaces

• Support migration from legacy systems to scalable AWS architectures.
• Help establish cloud baselines, data foundations, and AI/agentic development environments.
• Contribute to AI-enabled initiatives such as chatbots, intelligent forms processing, and client setup optimization.
• Participate in Agile product delivery cycles (6-week increments).
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• *Required Qualifications
• Experience developing in AWS cloud environments (certification strongly preferred).
• Cloud-native development experience (microservices, APIs, event-driven design).
• Proficiency in at least

• Python or .NET (application layer)
• PostgreSQL or MySQL (data layer)
• React or Angular (front end)
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments.

• AWS certifications (Associate minimum; Professional or Specialty highly valued), such as:
• Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
• DevOps Engineer Professional
• Data Specialty
• Machine Learning Specialty (nice to have)
• Exposure to AI/ML or agentic AI environments (e.g., AWS Bedrock).
• Experience with cloud security best practices.
• Prior experience in product-based delivery models.
