Title: Python Developer
Locations: Dallas / Tampa / Jersey City - onsite

Pay Range: $40 - $47/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Python, Oracle PL/SQL, and Snowflake to join our banking technology team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable backend applications, data pipelines, and high-performance database solutions supporting critical financial systems such as risk management, regulatory reporting, and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend applications and REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Develop Python-based automation solutions using OOP, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
- Build and maintain ETL workflows for processing large-scale financial datasets.
- Develop and schedule automated workflows using Apache Airflow.
- Modernize legacy scripts (Perl/Bash) into Python-based automation.
Database Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Perform database performance tuning using AWR Reports, Explain Plans, and indexing strategies.
- Implement partitioning, optimization, and transaction management for high-volume databases.
- Ensure data integrity, auditability, and compliance for financial applications.
Data Engineering
- Process and transform large datasets using Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
- Develop scalable ETL pipelines and support enterprise data processing.
- Work with Snowflake for cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
DevOps &
- Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab).
- Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
- Support cloud-based deployments on AWS and Snowflake.

Required Experience

- 3+ years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Experience developing enterprise-scale backend and data processing applications.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database programming and performance tuning.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial systems such as Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Payment Processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
