• Experience: 5 years of professional backend software development experience in Python.
• Frameworks: Proven experience with modern Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
• Databases &
• SQL: Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and writing optimized SQL.
• API Design: Deep understanding of RESTful architecture, JSON, and web service security.
• Tools &
• Practices: Proficiency with Git, containerization (Docker), and writing automated tests using frameworks like pytest.
• Core Concepts: Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), asynchronous programming and software design patterns.
• Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient backend applications and microservices using Python.
• Code Quality &
• Architecture: Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to OOP principles, interface-driven design, and type hints.
• Database Management: Design database schemas, optimize SQL queries, and manage data integrations (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL).
• API &
• System Integration: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and cloud infrastructure into existing applications.
• Testing &
• Security: Write comprehensive unit/integration tests and enforce secure coding practices (handling secrets, authentication, and authorization).
• Collaboration: Work alongside front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver feature releases.
