About The Role We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with robust experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team at Atos. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications and data solutions tailored to the financial services sector.

Your expertise will be pivotal in building scalable, secure, and efficient applications that meet the rigorous compliance standards of highly regulated financial environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative cloud-based projects, optimize data pipelines, and enhance application performance within a leading global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in Python development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Extensive hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Experience with data pipeline creation and optimization using GCP data services.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications and microservices that support business operations and customer solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable, cloud-native solutions utilizing GCP services, ensuring high availability and security.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services to facilitate seamless integration with other systems and applications.
• Create, manage, and optimize data pipelines using GCP data services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and monitor application performance.
• Implement security measures, ensure compliance with banking and financial standards, and optimize application performance.
• Monitor applications in production, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes to minimize downtime.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative development environment.
• Document technical designs, deployment procedures, and operational processes for future reference and compliance audits.
