Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long Term

Pay rate: $60-65/hr on C2C

We are seeking a talented Python Developer with strong experience in SQL and data handling to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in software development, data manipulation, and writing optimized SQL queries. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable data solutions and backend processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and data pipelines.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other developers to understand business needs and deliver efficient solutions.
• Optimize existing code and SQL scripts for better performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across various platforms and data sources.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in SQL (Joins, Stored Procedures, Views, Indexing, Optimization).
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, or working in a data-driven environment.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance tuning.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, or other Python data libraries.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools or frameworks is a plus.
