Sr. Python Developer

Location: Iselin, NJ, 08830 (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Python Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python backend development, AWS cloud services, ETL frameworks, and modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize Python applications, scripts, and data pipelines.

Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Build and deploy scalable cloud solutions on AWS, including Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, and Airflow.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Terraform.

Work with ETL frameworks and event-driven architectures using Kafka.

Ensure application security, performance monitoring, and operational excellence.

Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices.

Required Skills:

5–8 years of Python backend development experience

Strong experience with AWS services and Terraform

Expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL

Hands-on experience with ETL frameworks and tools

Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have:

Experience in Asset Management

Experience in Private Placements

Exposure to Information Security or Cybersecurity environments
