Job Title: Python Developer
Location: Jersey City, US
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, enhance and maintain Python-based batch processing applications.
- Leverage Pandas and NumPy for efficient data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
- Implement database interactions in applications using SQL Alchemy.
- Contribute to solution design and implementation with a focus on high availability, scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
- Assist across the software development lifecycle, including design, system integration testing and deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Required Technical Experience and Skills:
- Proficient in Python with 3-4 years’ minimum experience in software development.
- Experience writing scalable and reusable code, testing and debugging applications
- Strong experience working with Pandas, NumPy and ORM’s like SQL Alchemy.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns
- Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience in SQL and working with RDBMS
- Experience with Unix/Linux servers
- Self-starter that can work independently and can take full ownership of tasks
- Good team player with ability to work well with others
- Strong communication skills
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Understanding of Fixed Income domain
- Experience working with ETL tools
- Familiarity with Github Copilot, Claude Code
