Python Developer with Golang

Location: McLean, VA - Hybrid

Contract: W2

Mandatory Skills: Python, Golang and AWS

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Golang, following clean architecture and best coding practices.
• Build high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring reliability, security, and low latency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, DevOps, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance by improving algorithms, concurrency handling, and memory usage, especially in Golang-based services.
• Implement data processing, automation, and backend logic using Python frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django).
• Integrate applications with databases (SQL/NoSQL), message queues, and third-party APIs.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and maintainability.
• Deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) using CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
