We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer (9 years of experience) to design, build, and optimize scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Python programming, frameworks, data processing, and cloud-native development, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Python.
- Build APIs and microservices with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Develop data processing pipelines for structured and unstructured datasets.
- Optimize code for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Data Engineering, QA, Product) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) for schema design, queries, and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 9 years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
- Proficiency in Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
- Expertise with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data frameworks (PySpark, Hadoop) or data engineering.
- Knowledge of machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) is a plus.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming (AsyncIO, Celery).
- Exposure to event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
