About This Role
Seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer in an Infrastructure development organization with a goal to deliver automation solutions that enable a software driven Infrastructure environment.

- Design and build automation to streamline provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of load balancers.
- Participate in daily scrum activities and ceremonies.
- Escalation points for addressing production and non-production issues.
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- 5+ years Python development experience leveraging Django, Flask or FastAPI
- 4+ years of front-end UI development with React
- 3+ years of Agile, CI/CD and DevOps experience
- 2+ years of API development experience
- 1+ years of cloud native application development experience (OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes)
Desired Skills
- Experience with full stack development, including both frontend and backend application development
- Experience developing user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience developing backend services using Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPI
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with SQL databases and database design concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git/GitHub), and Agile development practices
