We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting robotics automation, data processing, and system-level tooling. You will design and support backend services that enhance robot performance monitoring, telemetry, and data-intensive robotics applications in distributed environments.

• *Responsibilities
• Develop scripts and services to support robotics automation, data processing, and system-level tooling.
• Design and support backend services for robot performance monitoring, telemetry, and data-intensive robotics applications in distributed environments.
• Support CI/CD workflows for robotics software, test infrastructure, and internal engineering tools, ensuring reliability from development through deployment.
• Build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications (Docker) used in robotics development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with robotics, systems, hardware, and manufacturing teams to ensure software reliability, performance, and integration with physical systems.
• Perform data querying and analysis using SQL and relational databases to support robot diagnostics, testing, and operational insights.
• Support, monitor, and troubleshoot applications running on Linux/Unix systems, including those deployed in lab, factory, or field robotics environments.
• *Essential Skills
• Expertise in Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Experience with Docker for building, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems support and troubleshooting.
• *Additional Skills & Qualifications
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering.

The role involves working closely with robotics, systems, hardware, and manufacturing teams in a collaborative environment. You will be working with technologies such as Docker and Linux/Unix systems in robotics development, testing, and production settings. The position may require work in various environments, including lab, factory, or field robotics settings.

This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.

• *Pay And Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
