Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Python FastAPI Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, hands-on experience with FastAPI, microservices architecture, and cloud-based application development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build scalable, asynchronous APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
• Develop API integrations with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
• Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, error handling, and API security.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain code quality standards.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modeling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and support production deployments.
• Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud services to deploy and maintain applications.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, Pydantic, and API validation.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with SQLAlchemy or similar ORM frameworks.
• Knowledge of API authentication and security, including OAuth2 and JWT.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Pytest.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Experience with Redis, message queues, or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM API integrations is a plus.
