About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Java and Python Developer to join our dynamic team in New York City. This role is pivotal in managing the operational aspects of our trading algorithms, ensuring that our technology stack remains robust, scalable, and high-performing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our systematic market-making platform, supporting real-time trading operations, and translating complex quantitative models into reliable production code. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design, is essential. Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python is required, with a proven ability to write clean, scalable, and testable code.

Experience working with high-frequency trading systems or financial markets is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-evolving environment. Relevant certifications or prior experience in algorithmic trading, system architecture, or real-time support will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and resolve technical bottlenecks within the trading lifecycle, ensuring operational stability and efficiency.
• Build and maintain automated solutions to enhance desk productivity, system reliability, and performance.
• Provide expert-level technical troubleshooting and support for production trading systems, ensuring 24/7 high availability, especially during volatile market conditions.
• Design, develop, and optimize the high-performance technology and data stack that powers our systematic market-making algorithms.
• Translate complex quantitative pricing models and business logic into robust, real-time, production-grade code for pricing and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements, ensuring scalability and resilience of the trading infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of system architecture, workflows, and operational procedures to facilitate continuous improvement and compliance.
