Robotics Software Engineer
Location: Boston, MA | On-site/Hybrid
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 pa benefits
About the Role A robotics company based in Boston is looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to join a hands-on engineering team working on real-world autonomous systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- C development in a robotics or embedded environment
- Python for tooling, scripting, and rapid prototyping
- Computer vision
- ROS/ROS2 — node architecture, messaging, simulation (Gazebo/Isaac)
- Strong debugging and system-level troubleshooting skills
Beneficial Skills & Experience
- Experience with sensor integration: cameras, LiDAR, IMU, encoders
- Embedded systems and real-time control: RTOS, hardware interfacing, low-latency execution
- SLAM, path planning, or autonomous navigation experience
- Familiarity with CUDA or GPU-accelerated vision pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Prior work on physical robotic platforms (manipulators, AMRs, UAVs)
