SDET - Software Developer in Test

Requirements

Must have:

- 6 to 9 years of experience mainly in software testing or Quality Engineering - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline - In-depth knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing - At least 4 years of experience with Object-Oriented Programming languages such as Java or Python - Over 5 years of experience in automation scripting (no record and playback) - Proficient understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and DevOps principles - Experience with UI validation functions and validation of SOAP/RESTful web services - Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of Selenium and Behave for automation - Experience with PL/SQL and Docker - Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms - Experience in mobile testing and service virtualization - Understanding and experience in non-functional testing is preferred

Responsibilities:

- Translating business and system requirements into comprehensive test strategies, scenarios, and plans - Designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining automated tests and related tools - Following quality engineering standards while creating automation scripts - Applying BDD principles to test software solutions effectively - Upholding industry-standard guidelines in Quality Engineering practices - Delivering maintainable and accurate code for automation and software utilities - Measuring and reporting crucial Quality Assurance metrics - Working collaboratively with other technical team members - Proposing enhancements for existing processes, procedures, and standards - Identifying opportunities to improve the maintainability of the automation platform
